Terms and conditions
The terms that apply as soon as you use Goldmary, from who we are to what you can expect from us.

These are the Goldmary terms and conditions. They apply to every account, including free ones.
Goldmary is only for entrepreneurs: sole traders and small businesses that use it for their business. By creating an account you confirm that, so consumer rules such as the right of withdrawal do not apply.
With Goldmary you make invoices and quotes, keep your hours, record receipts and prepare your VAT return and reports. Goldmary files nothing with the tax office. Every figure is an aid you check yourself, a suggestion from the app only counts once you confirm it, and Goldmary is a tool, not a tax adviser.
Goldmary is in beta and provided as is: features can change or disappear, and there is no uptime guarantee or SLA.
If you sign up during the beta, Goldmary is free until 1 January 2027. We may ask for payment details at sign-up, but you can continue without them. You pay only once you choose a package, and beta accounts pay nothing before 1 January 2027. A package runs per period until you end it, and may be charged to the payment details on file. Prices are on the pricing page and exclude VAT. Paid periods are not refunded, except in the cases the Dutch terms name. Without a package, your account becomes read-only after the free period, or at once if there is no free period, and your data stays.
Your data stays yours. We store it in the EU and are your processor for the personal data you put in Goldmary; the data processing agreement is part of these terms. You can export your data as long as your account exists and, unless you delete your account yourself, for 30 days after the agreement ends.
Our liability, for the whole term, is capped per year at what you spent with us in the 12 months before the event, with a maximum of €500, so nothing while you use Goldmary for free. Indirect and consequential damage is excluded. This does not apply to damage from intent or deliberate recklessness by our management.
We may suspend an account for abuse, non-payment or security reasons, and change these terms with 30 days' notice by e-mail or in the app; you can end the agreement before a change takes effect. Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court where Goldmary is established.
