Is Goldmary running yet?
There is no app to work in yet. There is a waitlist: you hear when you can start. The demo on the front page runs on made-up figures. There is no live bank connection, no live Digipoort connection, and nothing is collected.
When can I start?
The aim is around 1 January, so you start the new periods in Goldmary. That is an aim, not a promise: you hear by email as soon as you can start. You do not have to wait for Digipoort. Until that connection is in place, you enter the VAT return yourself.
What do I still need to do myself?
Check and approve. What Goldmary is not sure about comes to you as a question, with a proposal next to it. You choose.
Does Goldmary file my VAT return?
Not yet. Goldmary prepares the return, box by box. You check it and enter the amounts yourself in Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk. There is no live Digipoort connection yet: the connection and the certificate have been applied for. Once they are in place, the return can go directly, and only after you approve it. Until then nothing goes from Goldmary to the Belastingdienst.
Will it link to my bank?
Not yet. The bank connection is an add-on next to Start, at an extra cost. What it costs will be on the pricing page before you pay anything. In the Netherlands such a connection needs a PSD2 licence. The plan is to start with Ponto, and add Tink later. That connection is not live yet, but it may come before Digipoort.
Is Goldmary only for freelancers?
No. It is for freelancers and small businesses, also with a partnership (vof) or a private limited company (bv). Before you pay anything, this page will say what works for each legal form.
Does Goldmary connect to my current bookkeeping software?
No. Goldmary is a separate product, not linked to any other software.
Can I switch from my current software?
That is the plan. You export an audit file (XAF) from your current bookkeeping software and download your clients as a CSV. Goldmary reads both and prepares your opening balance. It is not built yet.
Can my accountant see my figures?
That is the plan. You invite your accountant, who looks at your figures and leaves a note on what is wrong. That is not built yet either.
Can I send e-invoices through Peppol?
Peppol is on its way. Until then you send invoices as a pdf by email.
What does it cost?
Start costs €9.95 per month, excluding VAT. The first month is free. After that it only renews if you switch that on yourself. The bank connection is an add-on. The price can still change before launch.
Does this replace my accountant?
For the bookwork that is the aim. Advice on your situation stays work for an accountant or adviser. Goldmary makes proposals, not advice.

Yair Knijn. Goldmary and Cushly are trade names of Het Accu Huis B.V., KvK (Chamber of Commerce) 88977757. The site is goldmary.eu.
What do you keep about me?
Your email address and that you gave consent. Nothing more. This site also sets no cookies.
Can I opt out?
Yes. After confirming there is a link that wipes your data. Without confirmation your address does not count as a signup.
